How on earth do you combine construction and technology?

I don't know about you, but I would LOVE to experience less busyness, and more beautiful, peaceful sunsets like these. It seems like the business and tasks we are bombarded with overtake the joy of simplicity. At Commander, we are always looking towards the future at new horizons of construction and technology. We ask the question, "How can I make life simpler and more enjoyable for myself and my customers?" So, good news for you! We have some innovative ideas! From our more basic construction to futuristic goals and ideas, we are always working to see how technology can advance construction to make things not only simpler, but also more affordable. In the present, we see how installing robotic lawn mowers helps to reduce the work of mundane tasks, giving you more time to enjoy with family or relaxing after a hard day of work. This is pretty cool, but keep reading to learn about something truly out of the future.

Although we love helping people with robotic mowing and construction projects, one thing we are really excited about is the future of home building- namely 3D printed houses. Yes, HOUSES. Honestly, when I first heard about this I thought it was a joke. 3D printers don't do that stuff yet, right? Well, I was wrong. Although it feels very futuristic, it is, in fact, happening now!

This is a large 3D printer that uses concrete as its medium. It is set up on large equipment and programmed to leave spaces for doors, windows, and other necessary spaces. There have already been several houses built this way around the world, and even some in Texas! We believe that 3D printing is the answer to affordable housing. As it becomes more commonplace, it will reduce the cost of building houses from the traditional cost, especially with high lumber prices. I thought there was no way that these houses would be nice, but check some of these out! They create them in all kinds of styles and they can be personalized. Our company's goal is to help create these for our own customers in the next few years. We are very excited about all of these advancements, so if you ever want to hear more, please reach out! We love to talk about our passions. Check out these photos of real 3D printed houses! So cool!

We hope you are as excited about this future as we are. We have even greater goals beyond this too... Just wait till you hear what we think of next.
